From the deep blue of the Mediterranean to the white sails billowing in the wind: every May, the Sorrento Coast transforms into a stage of elegance and adrenaline with the Rolex Tre Golfi Sailing Week. The 2025 edition, celebrating the 70th anniversary of this historic event, promises spectacular racing and competition at the highest level, with a two-week schedule—from May 8 to 22—featuring offshore regattas, coastal challenges, and the giants of the sea vying for the European title.
Villa Coralia, nestled between the sea and the sky, offers one of the most captivating vantage points from which to witness this elite event: from its panoramic terraces, in fact, you can admire the sophisticated yachts gliding across the waters off Sorrento. A privileged view, blending comfort and beauty, allowing you to experience the thrill of sailing without leaving the tranquility of your own home.
An International Event in the Heart of the Amalfi Coast
Organized by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with prestigious sailing clubs and under the patronage of iconic brands such as Rolex and Loro Piana, Sailing Week has now taken on a prominent role in the global sailing scene. Making the 2025 edition even more special is the participation of over 70 registered boats from six countries, ready to compete in a rich and varied program.
The event will kick off with the ORC Mediterranean Championship (May 8–10), followed by the historic Regata dei Tre Golfi (departing from Naples on May 16) and, finally, the prestigious IMA European Maxi Yacht Championship, from May 19 to 22. This year brings an exciting new addition: the participation of maxi multihulls, which will race in parallel from Vico Equense.
Among the competing yachts are true icons of international sailing, such as Pier Luigi Loro Piana’s famous My Song and Magic Carpet 3, one of the most admired yachts in the Wally class. The list of participants is a veritable “who’s who” of the sailing world, featuring teams from world-renowned regattas such as the Sydney-Hobart.
The technical level will be exceptionally high, thanks in part to the presence of the ORC fleet, which will use the event as a testing ground ahead of the 2026 ORC World Championship, scheduled to take place right here in these waters.
An Unforgettable View
Villa Coralia is the ideal setting for those who wish to combine relaxation and sports during one of the most evocative times of the year. Seated on one of its terraces overlooking the sea, you can watch the boats pass by, follow the routes of the maxi yachts, and be enchanted by the perfect harmony between nature and technology, tradition and innovation that this competition embodies.
In addition to the spectacle on the water, the Tre Golfi Sailing Week is also synonymous with conviviality, exclusive events, and fine dining. Just a few minutes from the villa, Sorrento offers a calendar of unmissable events, from dinners with Michelin-starred chefs to parties for the crews, all immersed in the warm hospitality of the Sorrento Peninsula.
Choosing Villa Coralia during the Tre Golfi Sailing Week means immersing yourself in the beating heart of one of the Mediterranean’s most captivating events, with the certainty of experiencing every emotion… from a unique vantage point.
